What’s included
Your $250 covers a complete DEXA body composition and bone density scan and a clear, readable report of your results. It also includes the chance to ask questions about what your numbers mean, in plain language and without pressure.
The scan price is the whole price. The same flat rate applies whether it’s your first scan or a follow-up to track change over time, so you can rescan on whatever cadence suits your goals without a membership.
We don’t process health insurance, which is part of how the price stays simple and predictable. On request, we can provide an itemized receipt you may be able to submit to an HSA or FSA provider, depending on your plan.

How much does a DEXA scan cost?
A complete DEXA body composition and bone density scan is $250. The price is flat and upfront, with no insurance process, membership, or hidden facility fees.
Do you take insurance?
No. Wayne DEXA is cash-pay. We can provide an itemized receipt on request, which you may be able to submit to an HSA or FSA provider for reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. Our physicians provide the order in-house.
Do I pay when I book?
Yes. Payment is collected in full at booking. The flat $250 covers your complete scan and report, with no referral or insurance process.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Payment of $250 is collected in full at booking. If you cancel more than 1 business day before your appointment, you'll receive a $240 refund ($10 is retained to cover credit card processing fees). If you cancel 1 business day or less before your appointment, you'll receive a $200 refund. A missed appointment is not refunded. Two reschedules are included at no charge whenever you make them; a third or later change is treated as a cancellation and a new booking under the refund amounts above.
Is a follow-up scan the same price?
Yes. Each scan is the same flat $250, so you can rescan to track change whenever it makes sense for you, with no membership.
